Hello.
My name is Sarah. I am 22 years old. I am a follower of Christ, a lover of laughter, an introvert, a mother, a friend to a few, a sister to six, a wife of one.
I was raised in a Christian home in Dallas, Texas surrounded by my mom,
dad, three brothers, and three sisters. I was home schooled from
pre-school through 12th grade. Beginning in 7th grade I began taking a
class at Quo Vadis, a home school co-op, and that class (and the class I
took the following year) prepared me for college. I began taking
college classes in 9th grade through a dual enrollment program. When I
graduated high school two years later (somewhere in there I "skipped" a
grade) I had 30 college credits. After graduating, I began attending
Criswell College to obtain a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies with two minors in Student Ministry and Christian Education. I graduated in May 2012.
My future plans consist of being a faithful, godly, and supportive wife
to my husband of two years. I desire to follow him in whatever God calls
us to do whether that be leading a secular business or leading a church
in pastoral ministry. I also desire to be a stay-at-home mother and to
raise and educate our children in light of the Word of God. I truly
believe that motherhood is a calling and ministry within itself. I
believe that God has called me to give my life to my husband and
children and do my part in standing up for the sanctity of marriage,
family, and life by being a faithful wife and a caring, devoted mother. I
hope to pass on these values to my children and they, in turn, will
pass them on to their children and so forth. Above all else, I hope to
live a life pleasing to God.
My husband and I had our first child, Grayson, in May 2012. You can read my birth story here. I hope you enjoy perusing these pages and I hope that you find that, though I try not to wear my heart on my sleeve, I am transparent and honest. |
